We stayed as a couple at Swissôtel Makkah and our experience was quite average. The reception staff were not welcoming at all — no “welcome,” no “hello,” and they didn’t even make eye contact. The attitude felt very unfriendly. The same issue continued at the restaurant: during breakfast, the servers were busy talking among themselves, and it took 10 to 15 minutes just to get a coffee. It’s clear that the management is making efforts, but unfortunately the service does not follow.

This was my first time with swissotel hotel, but I must say it was excellent. Staff, housekeeping , breakfast, cleaneness location everything was perfect. Must recomend everyone.

Got upgraded to Kaaba view and bigger room because of status. This was my 3rd stay here in last 1.5 yrs and I choose them again and again due to easy access to haram via one elevator and 2 access points - mall and street. Great service although they could do better on breakfast item rotation day to day and have more egg stations etc where lines get long.
