Although the hotel's location is optimal, the staff are great, the service is good. However, it is very clear that this hotel does not stand to even half the standard of acoor hotels and swissotel specifically. It seems like the hotel management decided to ditch the high standards expected from such an establishment to accommodate for high bulk operations. For example, the breakfast buffet selection is mediocre at best, I wouldnt expect such level from a 3 star hotel, the staff are always in a rush to serve the quality is very low and the items are prepared in bulk. I couldnt distinguish a single item that wasn't specifically designed to be done in huge pots to feed many mouths. Although this is a "gets the job done" and people would be ok with it especially ones who have never visited such an establishment, but as someone who visited accor hotels before, this was way below expectations. Additionally, saying that them operating in the haram is not an excuse for such low quality, I have visited other establishments in the area and they have managed bulk quantities while maintaining acceptable quality way better.

I had a very beautiful stay as expected, based on my earlier stays at SwissOtel. Hospitality starts by the easy and welcoming check-in all the way to check-out.

My stay at swissotel makkah was combination of comfort and convenience. Hotel location is just steps away from Haram. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and professional Overall it was an outstanding experience
