Our original booking for differnt hotel got cancelled for some strange reason. So I booked swissotel makah. Sincevwe were around the corner, I walked over and asked reception if we could check in slightly earlier,this was at 7 am . I was hoping he they would let us check in at 1pm. But to my surprise the gentleman name Ahmad, with a great smile and gentle voice checked if the room was ready and checked me in immediately! What a beautiful gesture . Also my request for a late check out was granted without hesitation. Now that is proper 5 star hospitality . Insha Allah I won't be staying anywhere else ,if I can continue to afford it

The stuff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was over clean and have a perfect view to Kaaba.

My parents had a comfortable stay just 5min walk to the Mosque. Hotel staff were very cooperative and sorted out issues in the toilet promptly. My parents were allowed to checkin 2 hours before the actual check in time which was nice as my father had fever and needed rest. Should look into improving the internet service at the hotel
