Lovely stay at swissotel al maqam makkah, walid on front desk was amazing and gave us a complimentary upgrade which made a huge difference to our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for both haram and access to food. Rooms were clean and anything that was ever required was always taken care of by housekeeping, thank you to simon for this. Will definitely be back!

Salaam. I loved my stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean, and the cleaners did a really good job making sure they cleaned it thoroughly and supplied us with more water and towels etc. the hotel is really close to the haram; and the elevators from P5(the check in floor) to the haram was nice and efficient so you could pretty much get to the haram within 5mins from leaving your room itself. Which is great because you can just do wudhu/ghusl in your room and head for your salah prayers/umrah/nafl tawafs… the hotel also had a great restaurant. We only had breakfast and the staff there at the omelette station for example or the general staff, they would ask you if you would like to have a hot drink and they would attend to your needs. If you had any questions, you could just ring the hotel via your telephone or go down and speak with staff, and they would answer your questions. All the staff could speak English which was fantastic, as we didn’t know any Arabic. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. Lastly the building is connected to the clock tower, so you could even go to the food court without leaving the building. It’s a top hotel and located very close to the haram masjid and kabah. I would recommend this hotel and loved my stay. I would come again
