We had the city view to save a dollar but the science was still great. The hotel is spick and span with staff taking great pride of n their work. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous and a good choice to load up ( but not too much, save room for the delicious food outside the hotel), well worth the price. Did I mention the hotel is connected to a HUGE shopping mall? Yeah, we’ll stay here again.

The check-in desk was chaotic when I arrived with no one keeping track of the queue. A staff told me to wait for assistance whilst other guests were cutting the line until I complained. There was a stain in on my sheets and a light was flickering in my room. Although both were fixed quickly, this was not the level I expected from Swissotel.

Limited recognition General service was lackluster with limited recognition for me as premium Accor member. Upon arrival in lobby, there was no visible ALL Priority Check-in, neither any staff available to welcome & escort me to the L65 lounge, let alone to show me the Marina Bay Suite / functions No extra mile for late check-out request Although Mr/Ms. Villamanca from Guest Relations already pre-informed me on 6 Feb that the requested 9Feb/6pm late-check out could not be confirmed for the Suite, Guest Relations could have granted my 6pm request in a lower category room - as per my Platinum perks. This would have saved me SGD 391 for the additional night which I pre-emptively booked and hoped to cancel. This was a clear missed opportunity for making a difference going the extra mile A robotic experience at the SKAI bar To bridge the 6 hours before our night flight back home, I wanted to redeem the two welcome vouchers and complete my stay in style with some premium wine & seafood enjoying the 70th floor view. Upon entering the SKAI bar, the hostess made a single flat remark that with a welcome drink voucher, the stay duration in the bar was limited to 45 minutes only. Never I have experienced such narrow-minded robotic approach, which did vanish my appetite to order some Kaluga caviar with a bottle of Taittinger. So we left disappointed - to be precise after 25 minutes. Takeway I am afraid there were too many missed opportunites for me to write a more positive review of our stay at your hotel. I even felt more recognized in the many midscale & other luxury Accor properties, I stayed before. I trust that my constructive feedback will help you further improve the service you provide to your premium ALL members.
