We enjoyed the location to the haram. The rooms were nice. The bathrooms need refurbishment as they've become dated quite quickly. Breakfast could have a larger variety of international cuisine and more live cooking stations to reduce queues. Overall a good experience.

I am a gold member A better room was available but was not offered as part of thr upgrade Was told that i will get an upgrade two or three days later, but there was no follow up I was asked for a late checkout of 2 pm and was told that i need to ask for it on the day of checkout as they were not sure about reservations I had to show my displeasure for her to agree to late checkout. But i return to my room after my prayers to take my laptop bag and the room key didnt even work. I am so disappointed as i assumed that the person would have set this properly and when she offered late checkout of out

My overall stay at Swissôtel Al Maqam was good. The location is excellent — very close to Al-Masjid Al-Haram, which made it convenient for prayers. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. However, the check-in process was a bit slow, and I faced an issue between the booking company and the hotel that was never resolved, so I had to pay additional charges myself. That was disappointing. The restaurant was good; the food quality was fine and the options were not many, but still satisfying. The room itself was decent and comfortable enough, though not exceptional. Housekeeping only came upon request, which was okay but not very convenient. In summary, it’s a good hotel overall — great location, decent rooms, and clean facilities

Not the level of experience I’ve received from other hotels in Makkah
